AviaSeven has signed a 5-year contract for 10 concurrent users of OASES. Although based in Greece, AviaSeven is focused on the provision of EASA-level aircraft technical services across Africa.

Commsoft, a world leader in aviation engineering and maintenance systems, is pleased to announce that AviaSeven has signed a 5-year contract for 10 concurrent users of OASES. Although based in Greece, AviaSeven is focused on the provision of EASA-level aircraft technical services across Africa, a continent in which Commsoft is seeing significant growing demand for its flagship MRO IT system.

In addition to announced customers Kenya Airways and Arik Air of Nigeria, OASES is also used extensively by a number of other CAMO operators supporting another eight African airlines.

A ‘best-of-breed’ system, OASES offers an industry-leading technical sophistication whilst being intuitively user-friendly. To allow for scalability, the system is structured in a modular format and AviaSeven has selected the Core, Airworthiness and Planning modules which will be hosted on Commsoft’s OASES Cloud service. Implementation and initial training are scheduled to start immediately.

AviaSeven offers a full range of CAMO services to support private aircraft owners and commercial operators as well as financiers and leasing companies and has currently line maintenance operations in Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Djibouti and incoming at Cameroon and South Africa. The company plans to use OASES for the ongoing support of two Boeing 737-800s, one BAE 146-200, five Embraer regional jets and two ATR 72s on behalf of operators and lessors.

Nick Godwin, Commsoft Managing Director, commented: “The ever growing family of OASES users is a truly global community and we’re delighted that AviaSeven has chosen our industry-leading MRO IT system for its African CAMO operations. It demonstrates yet again that OASES really does meet the needs of aircraft maintenance organisations across the world. We’re looking forward to delivering a rapid and successful implementation working closely with AviaSeven as OASES’ footprint in Africa further grows.”
