May 13, 2014
Over the course of the event, attendees participated in key sessions focused on market outlook, product direction, knowledge transfer, and hands-on Maintenix training.

Ottawa, Canada (May 13, 2014) – Mxi® Technologies recently hosted customer delegates – representing airlines, MRO service providers, defense organizations, OEMs, and corporate aviation – alongside industry experts and Mxi personnel for the three-day Maintenix User Group (MUG) Conference held in Ottawa, ON. Over the course of the event, attendees participated in key sessions focused on market outlook, product direction, knowledge transfer, and hands-on Maintenix training.

Keeping with the collaborative spirit of the event, a number of Mxi customers took to the conference stage to share case studies on their use of the Maintenix software to support operations. In 2014, presentations from Saab, China Airlines, NetJets, LATAM, Air Mauritius, and BAE Systems covered a variety of topics related to aftermarket services, return on investment, the dynamics of corporate aviation maintenance, and product upgrades, with each demonstrating the breadth and value of the Maintenix software’s application across diverse organizations.

In addition to customer case studies, attendees heard from industry expert, Lee Ann Tegtmeier, Chief Editor, MRO, Aviation Week, who presented a session on market trends in the commercial and defense aviation market and facilitated an interactive conversation among delegates about the future of the industry.

A hands-on working session focused on reporting, dashboards, and analytics allowed delegates to experience the powerful reporting engine behind the Maintenix v8 software and learn more about how best to leverage this functionality in their maintenance business. The workshop highlighted ease-of-use and data-driven decision making across all levels in the organization.

As in past years, attendees praised the event for its networking opportunities, customer diversity, and informative sessions, with one attendee noting, “the best part of the MUG is the collaboration between customers and Mxi. The community aspect of the event is the impressive part.”
