The Parts Search App will allow customers to quickly search inventory and send RFQs or purchase orders through our website to expedite repair needs; and the Event Module will refine our entire operations by automating push communications that keep processes moving and information flowing to the right people at the right time.

SAN DIEGO, CA, October 30, 2013 – Component Control announced today that Western Aero, an award winning FAA and EASA certified aircraft services and repair company, has further improved operations by using Quantum ControlTM MRO and Logistics software to optimize online parts sales and operations event management. An ISO-AS9120 accredited vendor and Diamond Award designee from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Western Aero has provided parts and industry benchmark overhaul and repair services to both commercial and military aircraft since 1989.

“The new Quantum modules will improve services to our customers in two distinct ways: the Parts Search App will allow customers to quickly search inventory and send RFQ’s or purchase orders through our website to expedite repair needs; and the Event Module will refine our entire operations by automating push communications that keep processes moving and information flowing to the right people at the right time to keep us ahead of business issues,” said Scott Balfanz, President, Western Aero.

The Quantum Parts Search App can be embedded on a company website page or social media page automatically linking customers to available inventory, services, and parts information such as time & cycles, tag data.  Part serial numbers can also be included on line items to further assist on purchasing decisions.

The Event Manager module sends automated email or fax messages to your staff, customers or suppliers based on the occurrence of specific events such as sales information, core management updates, new purchase orders or shipping alerts and includes settings to automate report scheduling.

In addition to recently winning a World Class Team award through Northrop Grumman’s annual Socio-Economic Business Program (SEBP), Western Aero holds numerous quality and service accolades including being a Northrop Grumman Platinum and Boeing Silver source supplier.
