The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority has launched a new website for ParkSmart, its downtown Toledo parking provider.

The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority has launched a new website for ParkSmart, its downtown Toledo parking provider. The site, www.parksmart.org, will improve the ability to find downtown Toledo parking information on its three parking garages and on-street parking meters, as well as information on how to pay parking citations.

“Downtown Toledo is experiencing a renaissance and with that comes the increased demand for parking,” said Todd Audet, Vice President of Planning, Engineering and Operations for the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority. “This new website will improve the customer experience when looking for parking options when residing in, working in or visiting downtown Toledo.”

The new site, which was created by Madhouse, is mobile responsive and includes an interactive map that displays where all three parking garages and the 900 on-street parking meters are located, in addition to offering directions to the parking garages when the user’s location services are active.

The new website also includes the ability to pay parking citations online, apply for monthly parking, buy parking validation tickets and prepay for event parking at the Superior and Port Lawrence garages. The development of this new website is the beginning of a multi-phase parking plan to improve parking in downtown Toledo.
