DSE and DigitalSignageConnection.com Debut ‘Digital Signage Stories’ Podcasts
Digital Signage Expo (DSE) in partnership with DigitalSignageConnection.com, recently launched a podcast series entitled Digital Signage Stories.
The weekly podcasts showcase a variety of digital signage projects and installations deployed around the world across a variety of vertical markets. Participants discuss the strategy behind each installation and provide insights that help listeners recognize the elements that make each different and successful.
Host Alesia Hendley, recently named one of the “Nine AV Innovators to Watch” by Systems Contractor News, leads each discussion with one or more of the principals who developed each installation.
The series’ first five episodes include insights into installations at The Mirage Metropolis Mall, Libbie Mill Library, the LG Experience in Best Buy, West Virginia University and Toronto Pearson Airport.
Episode 6, which was released April 30th, is entitled “Projection Mapping Under the Cambie Street Bridge,” and features an in-depth discussion of Uninterrupted – a cinematic spectacle that brings projection mapping footage of spawning Pacific salmon to an urban bridge in Vancouver for an immersive outdoor experience.
The next project deployment to be covered on Digital Signage Stories will be Nick’s Theater – a therapeutic video wall designed for gaming and occupying the minds of patients at University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Both Uninterrupted and Nick’s Theater won 2018 APEX Awards at Digital Signage Expo’s 15th Anniversary Conference.
