Digital Signage Expo 2018 Seminar to Present 'Understanding the Parts of a Digital Signage Network'
Digital Signage Expo (DSE) announced Nov. 28, that its Digital Signage Fundamentals Seminar Program at DSE 2018 designed specifically for End Users, AV Professionals, Systems Integrators or anyone considering creating a digital communications network, will include an hour-long session titled, “Understanding the Parts of a Digital Signage Network.”
On March 28 at 9 a.m., Jonathan Brawn, principal and co-owner of Brawn Consulting, will present an introductory session that will discuss the overall fundamentals of digital signage system design and provide an overview of each of the parts that go into a digital signage network, how they work and interact with each other, and a review of common terms used to describe each one. This will include components such as displays, mounts and cables along with the hardware and software technologies.
“The clear benefits of replacing a static sign with a dynamic digital display have become obvious to so many people that it is appearing everywhere,” Brawn said. “It’s impossible to avoid digital signage as we go about our daily lives. However, I still find myself surprised by the number of people who want digital signage, but don’t understand what goes into a signage system.”
