Manila Airport Security Beefed Up Following Blast
MIAA Officer-in-Charge Bryan Co called on the airport community to be vigilant and report suspicious activities in the airport complex.
Investigators from the Airport Police Department and the Aviation Security Unit of the Philippine National Police are looking for the man who lobbed a Molotov at the open parking of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3. Three vehicles were damaged when the improvised bomb went off.
Recordings of CCTV cameras are being reviewed, and police authorities are also trying to obtain other footage from nearby establishments outside the Terminal 3 perimeter.
The assistance of the Pasay City police has also been sought to speed up the investigation of the incident.
