Police: Woman Arrested for Boarding Plane at O’Hare Without a Ticket

Criminal charges were pending against a woman accused of bypassing security checkpoints at O’Hare International Airport and successfully boarding an aircraft, according to Chicago police.

The unidentified woman was taken into custody aboard the airliner taxied at O’Hare’s Terminal 3 just after 5 a.m. Sunday, police said, citing preliminary information. The woman, who was able to bypass a checkpoint, faces charges of criminal trespassing after boarding an airplane without a ticket, police said.

It wasn’t immediately clear what airline was involved. A representative from the city’s Department of Aviation wasn’t available for comment.
