International Flight Center (IFC) has opened a new terminal facility at Miami Executive Airport (KTMB), marking the latest phase of expansion for the fixed base operator serving the South Florida business aviation market.

The terminal, which officially debuted in the fourth quarter of last year, was introduced during a ribbon-cutting event and is now fully operational. The facility was designed to support both passenger comfort and operational needs, with amenities that include lounges, private rest areas, a conference room equipped with audiovisual capabilities, and on-site food service.

The new terminal follows the 2024 opening of IFC’s hangar complex at the airport. That development added 84,000 square feet of hangar space across multiple structures, along with expanded ramp capacity. The hangars are designed to accommodate large-cabin business aircraft and include enhanced security and safety features.

Together, the terminal and hangar developments establish a consolidated operating base at Miami Executive Airport, providing space for aircraft storage, passenger handling, and ground operations. The facility is supported by more than 550,000 square feet of apron space, enabling flexibility for based and transient aircraft activity.

Airport partners said the terminal expansion improves the overall experience for business aviation customers while supporting continued growth at the airport. The FBO is located on the southwest side of the airfield, adjacent to the U.S. Customs facility, and provides convenient access to downtown Miami and surrounding destinations.

International Flight Center has operated at Miami Executive Airport since 1986 and serves business and general aviation operators through its terminal, hangar, and ramp facilities. The company also supports aircraft maintenance, charter, and management services through affiliated aviation businesses.
