Plainview Nears Completion of Hangar Acquisition

The city and county's acquisition of privately-owned airplane hangars at the Plainview/Hale County Airport is nearing its final steps.

The city and the county jointly own the airport; however, Rocket Aviation, a fixed base operator, privately owns some of the hangars, offices and repair facilities, according to Plainview Herald archives.
