MT: New Runway at BZN Could Provide Smoother Service
The first new airport runway in Montana in over 30 years will open Thursday at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
Airport Director Brian Sprenger said the cost of the new runway was $7 million and construction took a little more than a year to complete. That money came mostly from a federal grant from the Airway Trust Fund, which doles out grants on behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration. The airport provided the rest of the money.
