Lawd, Lawd, how long have we been waiting for the Honda Jet? I remember years ago, when someone told me that "Honda is building a jet airplane.” He explained that he was “talking about Honda, now, not some little unknown company, but Honda!”

I remembering thinking to myself, “Hey, just because Honda can build cars doesn’t mean they can build jet airplanes!”

Then I remembered something. How many of you remember when Honda built motor scooters — not cars — for America’s market? I remember those great ads — “You meet the nicest people on a Honda!”

Then they announced that they would build cars. I gotta admit, I thought to myself, “Who is gonna buy a Japanese car? Just because they can build motor scooters doesn’t mean they can build cars.” Well, you know the story. They built — and Americans bought — a blue zillion Honda cars.

Now they’re building and delivering the Honda Jet. They are now available for charter service. Some experts feel the jet performs well when compared to the competition.

I’ll tell you one thing. I won’t bet against them!
