Marc Lamb, aviation and community services manager for the airport, said a privately-owned helicopter crashed on the east side of the field at about 3:40 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30.

Two people were on board, Lamb said, and the airport released a statement saying they were both taken to Reno via helicopter for medical treatment, with their status unknown.
