Sun Country to Launch Las Vegas Anchorage Service This Summer

Jan. 8, 2019

Beginning May 18, Sun Country Airlines will launch nonstop seasonal service between Las Vegas and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (TSAIA).

Sun Country announced they will initially operate on Saturdays, but starting May 29 will add a Wednesday flight and beginning June 5 will offer four nonstop flights per week on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

“Las Vegas is a strategic market for Anchorage and we are excited Sun Country will open this new nonstop destination,” said Jim Szczesniak, TSAIA manager, “We have been working to secure nonstop flights between Anchorage and major hub markets. Nonstop flights stimulate growth and this new route will help continue the growth we saw last summer.”
