Travelers choosing Milwaukee’s MKE Airport have a new spot to enjoy Wisconsin beer before boarding their flights.  The new Leinie Lodge, operated by HMSHost, features self-serve beer taps that customers can use to sample the latest brews from Leinenkugel, a beer brewer based in Chippewa Falls, Wis.

Officials from HMSHost, Airport Director Izzy Bonilla, and Dick Leinenkugel, president and chief beer merchant at Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co., were all on hand to cut the ribbon at the grand opening.  Leinie Lodge is named after the Chippewa Falls lake house owned by brewery founder Jacob Leinenkugel.  Travelers can now enjoy the “Legend of the Northwoods” right here at the MKE airport.

The Leinie Lodge is located on Concourse D near Gate D43.  Concourse D is served by Delta, American, Frontier, Alaska, and OneJet.  Mitchell Airport also has service from Southwest, United, and Air Canada.
