City of Anniston Appoints Shani Germany as Airport Facilities and Maintenance Manager

City of Anniston recently appointed Shani Germany as Airport Facilities and Maintenance Manager.
Germany earned her degree in Aviation Management from Auburn University.
"I am passionate about all things Aviation," Germany said. "During my time at Auburn, I served as a Striped Wings Ambassador within the Aviation Department. I attended various events such as Aviation conferences and fly-ins, in order to help promote and recruit new students prospects to Auburn’s incredible Aviation program. Furthermore, I worked as a student dispatcher for the flight school helping instructors and other students with various tasks that pertained to their daily flight block duties."
Upon graduating, Germany worked at two Part 139 airports serving as an Operations Specialist, performing daily airfield and terminal inspections to ensure compliance with both FAA and TSA federal regulations.
Germany joined the City of Anniston as the Airport Facilities and Maintenance Manager at the Anniston Regional Airport in March.
"I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to working with the City of Anniston and together growing it for the advancement of the community," Germany said.
