Sep. 27—Passenger traffic at the Las Vegas airport dipped slightly in August, according to the Clark County Department of Aviation.

Just over 4.6 million arriving and departing passengers passed through Harry Reid International Airport last month, a drop of almost 300,000 passengers from July.

July set a record for passenger traffic at the airport.

Last month's total was up 22% from August 2021.

Through the first eight months of this year, the airport has recorded just under 34 million passengers, up 41% from the the same period last year.
