Bucharest, Sept 23 /Agerpres/ - Modernization works at the Bacau-based International Airport "George Enescu" have been finalized, on which occasion the leader of the PSD (Social Democratic Party) and president of the Deputies Chamber Marcel Ciolacu participated alongside the county authorities and the local leaders of PSD in the inauguration ceremony.

"Here, in Bacau, we can see the difference between us and them, between PSD and PNL (National Liberal Party), between an exceptional management team, with exceptional achievements, coordinated by Dragos Benea, and a team of ribbon cutters like PNL. They are people who just come and cut ribbons, take pictures and take the credit for some other people's work. You have the proof at the airport of a 35-million euros investment through the County Council. You also have the 2-million euros investment at the County Hospitals, funded from European funds, as proof. Not last, take the Bacau City-Ring as an example, an investment of the PSD Government worth 680 million lei (...)," said Marcel Ciolacu.

The modernization agreement for the "George Enescu" International Airport in Bacau, with a 35-million euro value, was won by the Spanish company FCC Construccion. The project was 85 per cent financed from European funds, 13 per cent from the state budget and 2 per cent from the Bacau County Council.
