NY: Astorino Announces Winning Bid to run Westchester Airport

A company has been chosen to run Westchester Airport in a $1.1 billion, 40-year deal, County Executive Rob Astorino announced today.

The county would get over $1 billion — $595 million in payments and another $550 million in capital funds to improve the airport’s infrastructure — in a deal with Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation, chosen by a committee that considered three bids to run the airport.
