Erik Treudt remembers when he first fell in love with flying. His dad was working on his private pilot’s license, exposing him to his first up-close experience with aviation.

That passion inspired Treudt to learn how to fly. He cleaned planes and remembers the hard work. He said it was worth it to start at age 12.

“I still have my logbook that shows my hours,” he said.
