Fabio Bendaña
Fabio Bendaña has joined RS&H as an Associate Vice President for the firm’s aviation market services. The national architecture, engineering, and consulting firm announced the new hire in June 2025.
In his new role, Bendaña will support the firm’s aviation sector by leading terminal design projects and contributing to strategic planning, project management, and business development efforts. He is expected to play a key role in advancing RS&H’s portfolio of airport infrastructure projects.
Bendaña brings more than 20 years of experience in aviation architecture and has worked on projects across five continents. His background includes work with both large commercial airports and smaller general aviation facilities. He holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana State University and a master’s in architecture from Florida International University.
Peter Cormier
Peter Cormier has joined Suffolk as Senior Vice President of Field Operations and National Transportation, the company announced on May 29, 2025. In this new role, he will lead Suffolk’s aviation sector growth strategy and oversee operational standards across major airport construction projects nationwide.
Cormier will be responsible for managing field operations, ensuring adherence to Suffolk’s safety, scheduling, and budget performance standards. He will also support project delivery and business development initiatives as Suffolk continues expanding its aviation portfolio.
Prior to joining Suffolk, Cormier served as project executive at Cranshaw Construction. His project experience includes work on Boston Logan International Airport’s Terminal B Optimization, Massport’s 2050 Garage Expansion, and the Assembly Row development in Somerville, Massachusetts. He has also contributed to projects for Harvard University and MIT.
Kaylee Knorr
Kaylee Knorr has been promoted to Director of Business Development, Aviation at Leopardo Construction, the company announced in June 2025. Knorr will lead strategic growth initiatives and client relationship efforts for the firm’s aviation sector.
In her new role, Knorr will focus on expanding Leopardo’s aviation market presence nationwide by strengthening partnerships with airport authorities, airline clients, and key industry stakeholders. She will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and supporting the firm’s continued work across both commercial and general aviation projects.
Knorr joined Leopardo’s aviation team with a background in civil design, consulting, and construction project management. She holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Alabama and has played a key role in shaping the firm's aviation growth strategy since joining.
Kim Kenville
Kim Kenville, Ph.D., C.M., has joined ADK Consulting & Executive Search as a Senior Consultant, the firm announced in June 2025. She brings more than 30 years of experience in airport management, aviation education, research, and consulting.
In her new role, Kenville will support ADK’s executive search and advisory services by contributing her subject matter expertise in airport operations, leadership development, and aviation policy. She will also help guide clients through strategic planning and organizational development initiatives across the aviation sector.
Kenville previously spent over 27 years as a professor at the University of North Dakota, where she led the airport management program and helped establish its graduate and doctoral aviation programs. She has authored multiple reports for the Airport Cooperative Research Program and held advisory roles with the FAA and National Academies. Earlier in her career, she held operational roles at Detroit Metropolitan, Milwaukee Mitchell, and Minneapolis–St. Paul airports.
Mike Wilson
Mike Wilson has been promoted to Director of Integrated Operations at the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), effective May 19, 2025. The promotion follows a national search and elevates Wilson from his previous role as Assistant Director for Field Maintenance.
In his new position, Wilson is responsible for overseeing airfield operations, emergency management, safety programs, and technical training initiatives as part of MAC’s Interconnected Operations Program. He will lead the Airside Operations unit, manage the Emergency Operations Center, and ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 139 requirements.
Wilson has been with MAC since 2014, previously serving as Reliever Airports Manager and later overseeing field maintenance at Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport. He also held aviation leadership roles with the cities of Waterloo, Iowa, and Aberdeen, South Dakota. A former officer in the Minnesota Air National Guard, Wilson holds a private pilot’s license and is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives.
Ryan Cooley
Ryan Cooley has been named Director of Aviation for the County of Humboldt, with the appointment effective June 9, 2025.
In his new role, Cooley will manage operations across Humboldt County’s six airports. His responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day activities, guiding capital improvement projects, and leading long-term planning initiatives. He will also focus on enhancing safety, strengthening airline partnerships, and supporting general aviation services to improve regional connectivity.
Cooley brings more than 20 years of experience in aviation management, most recently serving as Airport Director for the Border Coast Regional Airport Authority in Crescent City. There, he managed commercial and general aviation facilities, led infrastructure improvements, and worked closely with local stakeholders.
