Elliott, ACE, is the Airport Operations Control Center (AOCC) Supervisor at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), where her leadership and dedication have transformed operations and elevated team morale. At just 29, Elliott has played a key role in transitioning the AOCC to a new operational model, updating critical Operations Instructions to enhance clarity and efficiency. Her attention to detail and deep understanding of operations ensure her team is prepared to handle emerging challenges effectively.

"What drives me the most is the daily challenge of ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes," Elliott said. "One day, I might be handling a call from a passenger needing assistance with a missing bag, and the next, I could be responding to an emergency situation like a passenger experiencing a cardiac arrest. Balancing these responsibilities keeps each day unique and exciting, pushing me to stay alert and adaptable."

Elliott is equally dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive work environment. One of her proudest accomplishments is introducing a “Spirit Week” during National Public Safety Telecommunicator Week (NPSTW). Expanding on traditional recognition efforts, Elliott added fun activities, creative themes, and engaging opportunities for team bonding, bringing new energy to this important week. Her initiative has become a highlight for the AOCC, strengthening team unity and morale while celebrating their critical contributions.

Professionally, Elliott holds certifications as an AAAE Airport Certified Employee in Communications, APCO Communications Center Supervisor, and Communications Training Officer. She has also earned multiple ASPIRE awards, including for her critical efforts during Hurricane Ian, where she worked tirelessly to support recovery operations. A certified 9-1-1 Public Safety Telecommunicator, Elliott exemplifies dedication to both her team and the broader aviation community.
