Fire Suppression Foam Test at John C. Tune Airport

On Sept. 18, Nashville officials tested the fire suppression system in a new hangar at John C. Tune Airport (JWN).

Fire-suppressant foam covered the hangar floor, up to the tops of several blue barrels, in just over a minute -- beating the requirement of attaining that volume in four minutes. All told, more than 3,600 gallons of foam filled the hangar.
