ACRP LinkedIn Group Reaches 3,000 Members Milestone
The National Academies' Transportation Research Board issued the following news:
TRB's Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) recently surpassed 3,000 members in its LinkIn discussion group.
TRB's Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) LinkedIn discussion group (http://www.linkedin.com/groups/ACRP-Airport-Cooperative-Research-Program-3661950/about) allows its members to share opinions, comments, and remarks on specific ACRP publications. Announcements, solicitations, and innovations in the program are shared with the LinkedIn group.
Since members of this LinkedIn group provide ACRP with access to their resumes, ACRP may approach individuals for project panel assignments if the program is unable to satisfy panel requirements from the nominations received for a particular project. The ACRP Manager moderates the conversations that occur within the ACRP LinkedIn group.
To become a member of the ACRP LinkedIn group, please sign in or register an account with LinkedIn (http://www.linkedin.com/). Then, visit the "ACRP - Airport Cooperative Research Program" (http://www.linkedin.com/groups/ACRP-Airport-Cooperative-Research-Program-3661950/about) group page and select "Join Group" to send a request to become a member of the group. Requests to join the group are reviewed and vetted by the ACRP Manager.
