ANA Offers Comprehensive Quarantine Travel Services For Passengers Arriving in Japan

Jan. 15, 2021

All Nippon Airways (ANA) will take steps to simplify travel and make entry into Japan more accessible for travelers across the world. ANA will launch a new website offering comprehensive information on COVID testing, hotel accommodation and private transportation for all international travellers entering Japan. The website will be available from Jan. 22 as more Japanese residents living abroad are expected to travel to Japan.

Under current guidelines, all new visitors entering Japan are required to quarantine for a certain number of days and are prohibited from using public transportation both upon their arrival and during their quarantine period. ANA’s comprehensive program will make it possible for those arriving from abroad to receive all the necessary support for a safe quarantine when they enter Japan.

ANA’s quarantine packages, which are available through its website, will include options for accommodation at hotels located near both Haneda and Narita airport as well as options for car rentals and COVID testing. Arriving travelers staying for more than eight days will be provided with ANA’s first-class amenity kits.

The health and safety of passengers and staff is a top concern at ANA. To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and other pathogens, ANA has instituted the ANA Care Promise program which goes above and beyond the recommendations from public health officials in order to keep passengers and employees healthy. ANA has also contributed to the fight against COVID-19 by engaging in aid programs to support medical professionals, including the contribution of $200,000 toward healthcare workers. As the public health crisis continues, ANA remains committed to doing all it can to empower healthcare workers and public health professionals.
