Allegiant announces service from Portland International Airport (PDX) to three new cities: Santa Maria, Monterey, and Idaho Falls.

“Portlanders who are looking for opportunities to visit places where they can safely recreate will find them in Santa Maria, Monterey and Idaho Falls,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s vice president of revenue and planning. “Those destinations offer great outdoor experiences. And Portland is a gateway to world-class recreation for visitors.”

New service from Portland International Airport (PDX) includes:

  • Santa Maria, California via Santa Maria Airport (SMX) – beginning April 15
  • Monterey, California via Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) – beginning May 28
  • Idaho Falls, Idaho via Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA) – beginning May 28

The new flights will operate twice weekly.

“We are pleased to have Allegiant Airlines join the PDX family,” said Director of Air Service Development David Zielke. “Allegiant is known for serving small to midsize cities with competitive fares. We hope their new nonstop flights will encourage Oregonians and Southwest Washingtonians to explore all that the cities of Santa Maria, Monterey and Idaho Falls have to offer.”

Allegiant offers a unique option to Portland-area travelers with low base airfare and savings on rental cars and hotels. Travelers can book their entire vacation with Allegiant for less.
