Over the last four decades Chapman Freeborn has been supporting multiple Non-Government Organizations (NGO’s) in response to humanitarian crises.
Almost every emergency airlift has involved our chartered aircraft over this time.
Operations have included supporting response efforts with multiple natural disasters, including the Indian Ocean Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, the 2008 Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar, earthquakes in Pakistan, Haiti and Nepal. We have supported ongoing and post conflict humanitarian crises in Yemen, Darfur, South Sudan, DRC and other parts of central and eastern Africa.
Across the group, Chapman Freeborn pride ourselves on our ability to react rapidly and robustly to emergency situations.
In the past six months Chapman Freeborn has supported multiple NGO’s, providing PPE and urgent medical supplies for global communities in reaction to the current COVID-19 pandemic. These operations have been led with skill and determination by Daniel Carriett and his team.
Due to the continued significance of our involvement in the humanitarian sector, with effect from 1st October, Chapman Freeborn promotes Daniel Carriett into a newly created role, as Group Humanitarian Cargo Director. The role reports directly to Neil Dursley, Chief Commercial Officer.
Neil Dursley, Chief Commercial Officer, comments:
