Emirates Resumes Service to Los Angeles and Boston

The world’s largest airline continues to reopen international routes from the U.S. to Dubai with service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) starting today, July 22, and service from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) starting on August 15. Offering customers even more travel options, Emirates continues to ensure that the highest standards of health and safety are met at every step of travelers’ journeys.

Flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will operate twice a week beginning July 22, increasing to four times per week on August 2. Emirates flights from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) will resume to four times per week effective August 15. Customers in other points in the US can also enjoy access to Emirates’ wide-growing network via the airline’s codeshare agreements with Jetblue and Alaskan Airlines.

Emirates’ recent increase in service in the U.S. showcases its commitment to the market, a key aspect of the airline’s global network. In addition to reopening service from Los Angeles and Boston, Emirates has resumed service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and Washington D.C.’s Dulles International Airport (IAD). The reopening of these routes will bring the Emirates destination network up to 58 cities across six continents by mid-August.

Emirates customers traveling between the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific, can enjoy safe and convenient connections via Emirates’ hub in Dubai.

Network: Emirates currently serves over 50 destinations in its network, facilitating additional travel options through a convenient connection in Dubai for customers across the world, while undertaking extensive measures to ensure the health and safety of customers and employees.

Dubai is Open: Customers from Emirates’ network will also now be able to travel to Dubai as the city opens for business and leisure visitors from July 7, with new air travel protocols that facilitate travel for UAE citizens, residents and tourists while safeguarding the health and safety of visitors and communities. Visitors to Dubai should hold an international health insurance policy covering illness from COVID-19 for the duration of their stay. Travel restrictions: Customers are reminded that travel restrictions remain in place, and travelers will only be accepted on flights if they comply with the eligibility and entry criteria requirements of their destination countries. Visit: www.emirates.com/wherewefly

DXB Entry Restrictions: All passengers boarding Emirates flights, whose travel originates in the below U.S. gateway markets, cannot be accepted onboard unless they hold a COVID-19 negative certificate issued by a local government-approved laboratory. A certificate from a UAE Government designated laboratory (where specified) in the country is also acceptable. Certificates cannot be issued more than 96 hours prior to commencing travel.
