Delta Cargo Committed to Serving Japan from Tokyo-Haneda

March 31, 2020

Delta’s planned consolidation of its U.S.-Tokyo operation from Narita to Haneda Airport officially began on March 28. This change has been a year in the making, with flights transitioning from Narita to Haneda, the airport closest to Tokyo’s city center.

The transfer of services is part of Delta’s long-term network strategy to increase customer connectivity between the U.S. and Asia-Pacific. In addition to Tokyo-Haneda, Delta is excited to retain cargo tender and acceptance capabilities at Tokyo-Narita, expanding options and choice for customers at both airports.

Amid concerns related to COVID-19, Delta is doing all possible to ensure safety and security for all our customers and employees. In response to government travel directives, Delta has adjusted its U.S.-Tokyo service and will continue to do so as needed. Check deltacargo.com Alerts & News for current flight schedule to Japan.

To continue to support urgent shipment needs, Delta Cargo has launched worldwide charter solutions at 13 participating U.S. airports and over 70 available international destination airports.
