Oct. 4, 2019
ANA HD is participating in multiple efforts to provide resources for victims of Typhoon Faxai.

ANA HOLDINGS INC. (hereinafter “ANA HD”) is encouraging passengers to join offering resources to those affected by Typhoon Faxai by donating their ANA Mileage Club miles, which will be converted into Japanese Yen. ANA HD has already announced a donation of 2 million yen to Chiba Prefecture in recovery efforts and will be donating an additional 3 million yen to the Japanese Red Cross Society (JCRS) to help support victims of the disaster. In addition to offering financial aid, ANA HD provided material support such as drinking water, meals and bathroom facilities to those impacted by the typhoon.

ANA Mileage Club Members will be able to donate a portion of their existing miles to the JRCS to aid in recovery efforts. ANA HD will donate one yen for every mile that passengers donate to the JRCS. Until October 31, those wishing to make donations can do so at Japanese and English webpages, which ANA HD established these pages to respond to the natural disaster. A similar campaign was launched in 2017 to support communities in northern Kyushu affected by torrential rainfall. ANA Group employees were also asked to make donations which would be added to the company’s total aid package.

“Those affected by the typhoon are in our thoughts and prayers,” said Ito Yutaka, executive vice president of ANA HD. “We hope for a quick recovery for all of those affected by the typhoon and we want to do what we can to make a speedy recovery possible. ANA HD will continue to give back to this community by creating opportunities for our passengers and employees to help those in need.”
