Waukesha, WI – Wildeck, Inc. is excited to announce that they will be exhibiting their custom-built platforms, ladders and stands at the National Business Aviation Association Convention (NBAA) in Orlando, FL on October 16-18. Located in booth 4136 at the Orange County Convention Center, NBAA attendees will be able to get an up-close look at Wildeck’s innovative R44 Helicopter Stand.
Designed with and for helicopter maintenance professionals, the R44 Helicopter Stand comes equipped with a Step Jack locking device. This device easily locks the platform into place when the weight of an individual is placed on the first step. Steel tube stringer and fully welded handrail made of 1.25-inch steel tubing provide the platform with extra durability and security. Folding tool shelves located on both sides of the platform handrail ensure that tools can be easily and safely accessed during maintenance.
Furnished with Wildeck’s Rolalift mechanism, the back of the R44 Helicopter Stand can be easily raised to maneuver over the skids of a helicopter. Five-inch rear casters facilitate easy movement that requires only one person. Depending upon a facility’s foot traction requirements, the R44 Helicopter Stand can be outfitted with either diamond plate or serrated decking. The platform can be customized to meet customer color, size and materials requirements.
