Lindsay Hai, has been selected for inclusion in the 2017 “Top 20 Under 40” report produced by Wings and Helicopters magazines.

Summerside, PE - Vector Aerospace Corporation (www.vectoraerospace.com), a global independent provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, announces that one of its Canadian employees, Lindsay Hai, has been selected for inclusion in the 2017 “Top 20 Under 40” report produced by Wings and Helicopters magazines.

Now in its fifth year, the “Top 20 Under 40” program celebrates twenty influencers within Canada’s aerospace industry who have altered their respective organizations for the better, spearheading change on a number of levels. These twenty individuals were carefully selected by the magazines’ editorial teams following a formal nomination process, with candidates chosen based on their influence at work, their leadership in local communities, and their commitment to clients and colleagues.

Lindsay, a Senior Finance Project Manager at Vector’s Engine Services - Atlantic (ESA) division in Summerside, PE, began her career with Vector in 2009, working as a Financial Analyst while in the last year of study for her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Prince Edward Island. Lindsay would continue working in the Financial Analyst role with Vector while simultaneously studying for her MBA and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation at Saint Mary’s University, Halifax.

A year after graduating at the top of her class in 2013, Lindsay rejoined Vector as a full-time employee, initially as a Senior Financial Analyst, before being promoted to Business Performance Manager eighteen months later. One year after her initial management appointment, Lindsay was promoted to Senior Finance Project Manager, overseeing various working capital projects for the company.

“Lindsay is emblematic of the success of Vector’s Summerside facility,” said Jeff Poirier, President of Vector Aerospace Engine Services - Atlantic. “Her dedication, customer focus and emphasis on continuous improvement has enabled Lindsay to firmly establish herself within our team, and we are extremely proud that her achievements to date have been recognized by Wings and Helicoptersmagazines.”

Vector Aerospace congratulates Lindsay and all of the recipients of this year’s “Top 20 Under 40” award.
