June 2, 2015 – Fredericksburg, VA – Doug Yelton has been named Commercial Sales Representative for Zenith Aviation.
Yelton comes to Zenith from AvCraft Technical Services where he served as Logistics Manager. After leaving the US Air Force, where he served as an Inventory Management Specialist, Yelton transitioned to commercial aviation with SAAB Aircraft of America where he held several operations positions including Customer Administrator, Pricing Analyst and Procurement Specialist. He also worked as an AOG Coordinator at Atlantic Coast Airlines.
In his new position with Zenith Yelton will be responsible for maintaining and growing Zenith’s relationships with current clients, identifying new clients and opportunities to increase inventory holdings through acquisitions and consignments. Additionally, because of the depth of his experience with line maintenance and working in MRO facilities, Yelton will be charged with helping clients find creative solutions to complex problems within their organizations.
Scott Nordstrom, Zenith’s Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing, said that “the addition of Doug to our sales team strengthens our corporate experience and knowledge in the regional aircraft sector. He will be a vital part of Zenith’s growth going forward.”
