Skyways Technics will serve as an independent sales representative for APS in select Asia-Pacific countries, representing APS in the sale of its component repair and overhaul services, as well as aircraft parts associated with those services.

Lake Zurich, IL… Aircraft Propeller Service, LLC (APS, www.aircraftpropeller.com, Lake Zurich, IL, and Atibaia, Brazil), one of the world’s leading commercial propeller Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organizations, has entered an agreement with Skways Technics (skywaystechnics.com, Sonderborg, Denmark), a global MRO company with facilities in Billund, Denmark; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Dubai, UAE; and Miami,FL, USA. Under the terms of the agreement, Skyways Technics will serve as an independent sales representative for APS in select Asia-Pacific countries, representing APS in the sale of its component repair and overhaul services, as well as aircraft parts associated with those services.

According to APS Chief Revenue Officer Robert Boggan, the partnership with Skyways, a valued APS customer, gives APS a larger footprint in the fast-growing Asia-Pacific region and an opportunity to serve more customers in the commercial, military and general aviation sectors.

“This is an exciting development for both APS and Skways as we partner to bring our best in class MRO solutions to a growing and increasingly more demanding market seeking resources to deliver high quality, responsive and cost-effective MRO solutions in close proximity to their locations,” said Boggan. “The Skyways sales team is substantial, highly motivated and has impressed us with their drive and performance in bringing these solutions to the market.”

Skyways Director of International Sales, Lucas Ansinelli, added, “We have direct experience as a customer of APS and have benefitted greatly from its extensive experience, proprietary capabilities and coveted relationships with the OEMs. We are proud to be representing APS in the Asia-Pacific area; currently one of the fastest-growing markets for turboprop MRO services.”

APS has distinguished itself on many fronts, not the least of which as the only MRO in the Americas and Asia with full 568F propeller blade capabilities to include proprietary compression wrap during major inspections, and as the only MRO authorized for Level III repairs in Brazil for AW109, Squirrel/Fennec and Dauphin/Panther helicopter actuators. The company also has OEM technical backing, trained technicians, parts and supported repairs.

Boggan noted that Skyways Technics will not be representing APS in Korea, Japan or China, nor does the agreement cover all of APS’ key clients. The non-exclusive agreement will, however, encompass a large territory and leverage the synergies in core values and offerings of the companies.
