Dominik Wiener-Silva Appointed Managing Director Of EPCOR

After five years working as AFI KLM E&M vice president of sales for Asia Pacific in Singapore, Dominik Wiener-Silva will be the new managing director of EPCOR. He will take over from Martijn de Vries, who as appointed VP of engine services in Amsterdam.

In recent years, under de Vries’ management, EPCOR has been able to develop its service offering on the latest generation of aircraft such as the Boeing 787 and more recently the Airbus A330neo and A220. In a spirit of innovation and continuous improvement, Martijn has also enabled the ramp-up of the predictive maintenance tool PROGNOS for APU, the implementation of digital solutions like the Virtual Table Inspection and a new customer portal.

Ton Dortmans, executive vice president of KLM E&M, said, “Over the past five years, Dominik spearheaded AFI KLM E&M’s strategy of growth in the Asia Pacific region. Leading a strong commercial team, he has achieved many commercial successes, always driven by the partnership mindset that is so fundamental in our MRO business and characteristic of our brand.” And adds: “EPCOR and its customers can rely on Dominik’s considerable knowledge of the E&M business and his 20 years of experience in the MRO industry.”
