HAECO Xiamen, a member of the HAECO Group, announced that it has redelivered to Aviation Holdings III, L.P. its first Boeing 737-800SF converted freighter with Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) partner Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (“AEI”). HAECO Xiamen has been an authorised AEI Conversion Centre since 2020, and this first Boeing 737-800SF redelivery marked yet another milestone in the continued development of HAECO Xiamen’s capabilities.

To minimise downtime, HAECO Xiamen conducts full freighter conversions in parallel with heavy maintenance checks and other modifications. Its on-site quality assurance teams prepare daily reports as part of a comprehensive quality control process to ensure that work is conducted to the highest standards.

Robert T. Convey, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at AEI, said: “As we expand our authorised AEI Conversion Centres in the Chinese mainland, we are happy that we have chosen HAECO Xiamen. The quality of workmanship and professionalism at HAECO Xiamen is exceptional and we congratulate them on the delivery of the first AEI conversion to Aviation Holdings III, L.P.”

As the world’s first MRO to conduct a Boeing 747-400BCF conversion, HAECO Xiamen has long-standing partnerships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and STC holders and has completed more than 70 conversions to date, with impeccable schedule integrity and rigorous quality assurance.
