July 31, 2020

Certified Aviation Services, (CAS), is pleased to announce the initiative taken to invest in our mechanics b y providing aircraft specific courses to advance capabilities, improve safety and quality standards for current and future customers.

Back in April 2020, CAS received funds from the “Paycheck Protection Program” (PPP). These funds were used to train our technicians on over 9 various fleet types such as:B737, B767, B777, B787, B747, A220, A330, A320, A321. With much focus on CAS’ largest bases, it was able to grant over 30 certificates at the following stations: LAX, ORD, SEA, SFO, and LAS.

Cesar Moya, Director of Quality & Training, stated, “In these critical times, we thought it best to come up with a solution rather than down-size our staff. I am pleased, we chose the alternative. Because in the end, choosing to invest in the knowledge and skills of our aircraft technicians, we increase the safety and quality of our services to our customers.”
