DALLAS, TX – Wayne Jamroz has joined King Aerospace Commercial Corporation as general manager of its operations in Ardmore, OK. He brings almost four decades of extensive aviation maintenance experience to his leadership position.

“Wayne has tremendous drive, focus, integrity and a consistently positive attitude,” says Jarid King, president of King Aerospace Companies. “His depth of experience, proven leadership and ability to adapt quickly to ever-changing circumstances will be a great asset as we continue to evolve our services to better meet customer needs.”

Most recently Jamroz served as vice president and general manager of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for AAR Corp. in Rockford, IL. In that role he oversaw the construction of the then-new facility and to develop AAR’s MRO business. He hired staff and technicians, and developed programs to increase their competitiveness in the global aircraft services market.

Previously, Jamroz served as vice president of maintenance and engineering for Midwest Airlines for almost 26 years. He has experience on both business and commercial jet aircraft and working with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on airworthiness and regulatory compliance. He holds an A&P diploma, associate’s in aviation maintenance and bachelor’s degree in business management.

"The King Aerospace culture of no excuses and red-carpet treatment of customers drew me to make this move,” says Jamoz. “King treats its team like family, and I’m glad to now call myself a member of that family.”

At the 2018 National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) this past October, King Aerospace and GE Aviation finalized a multiyear agreement making King Aerospace a GE OnPoint™ service center. King will provide aircraft engine maintenance and repair for CFM56*-7B-powered Boeing Business Jets (BBJ). As a GE OnPoint™ service center, King Aerospace will perform a range of on-wing maintenance including line maintenance inspections, routine installed engine maintenance, removal and replacement of engines and engine components. King Aerospace A&P mechanics are participating in intensive technical training at GE's Cincinnati, Ohio campus in preparation for rolling out this service.

KACC also offers maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), interior design/refurbishment/completions and exterior paint for VIP and VVIP aircraft, specializing in the BBJ. King Aerospace Commercial Corporation is a family-owned company with a home office in Dallas. This year it celebrates its 25th-anniversary and record growth, with earnings 30 percent above fiscal year 2017.

“At a facility such as ours, some aircraft move through in a matter of days, others may take weeks or months,” says Jamroz. “Moving the plane through efficiently and effectively requires precision teamwork. I feel like I’m now with the best in the business.”
