Texas Air Composites Now Operating as Aviation Technical Services Components

ATS has finalized the transition of Texas Air Composites (TAC) to the ATS brand.

Aviation Technical Services (ATS) has finalized the transition of Texas Air Composites (TAC), located in Fort Worth, TX, to the ATS brand and has renamed the company ATS Components. TAC, a Domestic 145 Repair Station specializing in composite structural fabrication, support and repair for regional/business-, commercial-, and military-grade aircraft, has been operating as an ATS company since December 2014.

The new ATS Components facility in Fort Worth adds over 138,000 square feet of climate-controlled space to ATS’ three existing locations in Everett and Moses Lake, WA and Kansas City, MO. The expanded ATS Components organization benefits customers with increased component repair capabilities on a wide range of aircraft models. Although TAC has been part of the ATS team for the past two years, ATS’ relationship with TAC originally began in 2000 as a strategic supplier to ATS customers.

“ATS acquired Texas Air Composites in late 2014. Since that time, we have shared our strengths and best practices to offer multi-faceted solutions to our combined customers,” said Matt Yerbic, ATS CEO. “As we make this change we are confident that customers will receive the same commitment to quality and performance that they expect from the ATS brand. We are re-branding TAC to the ATS Components name, which allows us to provide transparency with our existing customers and leverages our reputation for excellence to a wider audience.”

TAC’s website and email domain names transitioned to ATSMRO.com in early December. The Fort Worth facility’s mailing address and phone numbers remain the same but the name on the building is now ATS Components.
