Air Corsica Entrusts A320 Component Support To AFI KLM E&M
Paris, Amstelveen, 9 March 2016 - AFI KLM E&M and Air Corsica have signed a long-term contract covering component support for the five A320s operated by the Corsican carrier. The agreement includes provision of a Main Base Kit, pool access, and flight-hour component repairs. AFI KLM E&M and Air Corsica have already worked together on several occasions in the past, and most recently on support for an A320 leased from Air France. The two groups have built up their partnership relations over time, during which the Corsican carrier has been able to appreciate the excellence of the services delivered by AFI KLM E&M in terms of reliability, support, and fleet availability. Hervé Pierret, a member of Air Corsica's Management Board, said: "AFI KLM E&M is one of our company's privileged partners especially as the MRO Group has in-depth knowledge of the aircraft and set out a proposal that was perfectly tailored to our requirements in terms of both performance and costs."
Over the 25 years and more that AFI KLM E&M has been providing overhaul and maintenance for the A320s operated by Air France, the aircraft's global launch airline, and for those operated by its clients, the Group has acquired in-depth expertise on this aircraft. AIR FRANCE KLM is the principal operator of the A320 in Europe, allowing it to market the most comprehensive, competitive offer possible.
