Pratt & Whitney Canada’s Eagle Service Plan (ESP®) Platinum Program: Taking Coverage to a New Level

Oct. 20, 2014
P&WC is now expanding ESP® Platinum to Dassault Falcon 2000 series aircraft, powered by P&WC PW308C engines.

Pratt & Whitney Canada’s pay-per-hour Eagle Service™ Plan (ESP®) is growing even more popular as more business aircraft operators appreciate the value of a “no surprises” environment for their engine maintenance. By simply paying an hourly fee based on the number of hours flown each month, ESP® members are covered for the selected level of maintenance. ESP® allows them to budget maintenance costs accurately and protect their cash flow from surprises that result in unplanned downtime and unexpected costs. Coverage under the ESP® Program also means the use of OEM parts only, ensuring the integrity of an engine.

As part of its commitment to fully respond to the changing needs of its customers and provide the best service value on the market, P&WC launched in 2013 a new service coverage level – ESP® Platinum – designed exclusively for operators of Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft powered by PW307A engines. Based on the success of this program, P&WC is now expanding ESP® Platinum to Dassault Falcon 2000 series aircraft, powered by P&WC PW308C engines.

ESP® Platinum builds on the ESP® Gold coverage level by adding the following new coverage:
• parts and labor for routine periodic inspections
• corrosion coverage1
• low utilization inspection
• technical publications
• enhanced engine trending and performance margin analysis.

In addition to peace of mind and predictable costs, P&WC’s ESP® Plan offers the potential for transferability on resale and increased value to subsequent operators; the ability to renew at the end of the contract term.

Note that there will be a time limited discount off the upgrade cost to current ESP® customers since they did not have the ability to enroll in ESP® Platinum from day one.
