Paris, Amstelveen, 13 October 2014 - On 14-15 October, AFI KLM E&M is hosting the European Aviation Maintenance Training Committee (EAMTC) in Paris, for its 61st training meeting.
AFI KLM E&M, a founder member of EAMTC back in 1984, is to host a total of 130 delegates including all the aviation maintenance training departments of the biggest European groups.
EASA to attend
The first day's proceedings will kick off with a keynote speech by Mladen Hanzevacki, EASA's Continuing Airworthiness Rulemaking Officer. This will be followed by a Q&A session, discussions and round tables among the attendees. During the 2-day meeting, this network of professionals will be able to work towards a common approach, work together on training programs, and share each other's knowledge and resources. More importantly, they will be able to plan for tomorrow's needs in terms of skills and aids to be developed.

The EAMTC, which currently has 147 members from the across aviation industry, is special in that its partnership with EASA means it is the only professional body in a position to amend regulations before they are published.
