Jet Aviation Basel has recently redelivered a 12-year service check combined with an avionics modification on a Global 5000 and a 12-year check with a major refurbishment on a Boeing BBJ1 aircraft.

Basel / Switzerland, July 15, 2014 – Jet Aviation Basel has recently redelivered a 12-year service check
combined with an avionics modification on a Global 5000 and a 12-year check with a major refurbishment on
a Boeing BBJ1 aircraft. The joint service offerings are performed simultaneously to reduce aircraft downtime.

For the Global 5000, the 12-year check was coupled with a major avionics modification and required removal
and re-installation of the entire cabin. The heavy 12-year service inspection on the BBJ1 also requires
extensive overhauls of all major aircraft systems and structures. In addition, the company installed a new Venue
cabin management system (CMS) by Rockwell Collins, re-upholstered 20 seats, replaced the carpet, recovered
all the ceiling panels, painted the showers and replaced the countertops in the two bathrooms.

Jet Aviation Basel offers maintenance inspections in combination with other maintenance or refurbishment
work, such as exterior painting, upholstery and avionic or cabin management system upgrades, to maximize
aircraft utilization.

“We are committed to the ongoing improvement of our services and continuously strive to deliver the most
benefit to our customers,” says Johannes Turzer, vice president and general manager of Maintenance at Jet
Aviation Basel. “Drawing on the full scope of our in-house capabilities and expertise, we combine service
offerings to keep downtime to a minimum, which adds great value to aircraft owners and operators.”
