CRS plans on establishing a facility in Brazil that will be both a sales, logistics and service center supporting the aftermarket needs of Gulfstream, Challenger, Hawker, Falcon and Lear model airframes.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (October 5, 2012) – CRS Jet Spares, a leading business aviation aftermarket parts supplier has been authorized in Brazil as the countries sales and service center by Securaplane a Meggitt Company. The authorization is an extension of the relationship the two companies have had in the United States. With CRS based in Fort Lauderdale it is a natural gateway for the South American market.  CRS has the experience to support the product line which includes: emergency and mainship batteries, battery chargers and security systems.

CRS plans on establishing a facility in Brazil that will be both a sales, logistics and service center supporting the aftermarket needs of Gulfstream, Challenger, Hawker, Falcon and Lear model airframes.

“The initial emphasis of the facility will be to support Securaplane power systems through sales and servicing however, the Brazilian location will increase repair capabilities based on the needs of the South American Business Aviation Community as we move forward” says CRS Owner and President Armando Leighton. “We are pleased to have support and approval of a Meggitt company in this endeavor.”

CRS has chosen Brazilian partners which was formalized at the LABACE show in August for this project that have experience in all aspects of the aerospace industry including; repair and overhaul facilities, OEM technical support, maintenance sales and operations. The International growth coincides with CRS 30th Year Anniversary. “The Global market is our target and Brazil is a key location in supporting this region of the world” claims Jack Caloras Vice President of Sales and Business Development. The aviation roots of CRS are linked to Brazil so the fit is very natural.”

Details of both, The CRS Group, joint venture will be announced at the 2012 NBAA Conference in Orlando. CRS will be exhibiting at this year’s show, at which time representatives plan on releasing more details.
