Triumph Expands Military Nacelle MRO Support

Triumph Airborne Structures MRO business was awarded a three-year contract to provide engine nacelle component repair and materials services for an unspecified military cargo aircraft.

BERWYN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jun. 28, 2018-- Triumph Group, Inc. (NYSE: TGI) announced its Triumph Airborne Structures maintenance, repair, and overhaul business was awarded a three-year contract to provide engine nacelle component repair and materials services for an unspecified military cargo aircraft. Triumph Airborne Structures is an operating company of Triumph Product Support.

Over the past five years, Triumph has serviced nearly 450 thrust reversers for military aircraft. The new agreement adds an additional 200 nacelle components per year to the growing nacelle component services work Triumph Airborne Structures provides for military platforms. For more than a decade, Triumph Airborne Structures has supplied MRO service for various military programs providing personnel, materials, material management services, equipment, data, inspection, engineering, and overhaul/repair services for multiple military aircraft nacelle components.

Triumph Airborne Structures repairs and overhauls a wide range of complex sheet metal and composite aircraft structures such as engine nacelles, thrust reversers, flight control surfaces, doors, and other aircraft structures.
