Embraer Honors FACC with Best Supplier Award

Embraer honored FACC with the Best Supplier Award in the Program Development category. With this distinction, the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer honors the excellent performance in the development and production of high-tech components for the E-Jet E2 family.

FACC CEO Robert Machtlinger expressed his delight with the award, “We have been cultivating a close and highly successful partnership with Embraer since 2006, and have significantly expanded it over the years. Receiving the coveted Best Supplier Award in the category Program Development is not only a token of appreciation for us, but also the result of the great dedication and commitment of every single member of staff in our Aerostructures Division. As a company, it makes us very proud to see that we have been able to clearly set ourselves apart from our international competitors thanks to our innovative strength.”

The collaboration between FACC and Embraer spans almost 15 years. Initial orders included various interior linings for business jets. Since the introduction of the Embraer E-Jet E2 series in 2013, FACC has been equipping the ultra-modern crossover aircraft with its innovative lightweight components. FACC received the Best Supplier Award in the category Program Development for the development and production of the E175/190/195-E2 spoilers and ailerons as well as the E190/195-E2 wingtips. In this project, FACC is responsible for the design, development, certification and series production of the respective components.
