Hi Fly Adds Three A319-100s to Fleet

June 18, 2019

Hi Fly, Europe’s specialized wet lease airline, is delighted to announce the addition of three new Airbus A319-100s to its fleet.

The aircraft, which were delivered to Hi Fly in May and June, have a total passenger capacity between 144 and 150 passengers.

The A319 – a shortened-fuselage member of Airbus’ A320 family –is a highly versatile aircraft and has the same optimized cabin cross-section as its fellow A320 family, making the widest single-aisle fuselage currently on the market.

The A319 is designed to cater to every need of the modern air traveler and is widely credited with setting a new standard for passenger comfort on single-aisle jetliners.

The 319’s calm, quiet cabin provides a fresh new look, with added space in the overhead compartments, a significant reduction in noise. It also comes with a variety of options for relaxing ambient lighting – and still manages to be lighter than its predecessors.

Hi Fly President Paulo Mirpuri, welcoming the new additions to his fleet, said:  “Hi Fly is now the leading wet-lease carrier with an all Airbus fleet – with our fleet offering clients every option from the A319 right up to the A380. We are delighted then to be in the position to offer this full range of airliners to our customers."
