Azores Airlines has become the first Portuguese company to offer the all-new A321neo aircraft. The airline took possession of one this week and is in process of air certification it for service in early 2018. The Airbus A321neo is the first of six aircrafts on order by Azores Airlines. The next five A321neos will be in the skies between now and early 2021.
These aircraft will connect Portugal and Azores to Boston Logan airport. The A321neo carries up to 186 passengers. With the widest single-aisle cabin on the market, every A321neo offers modern comfort in every class.
The A321neo aircraft will replace Azores’ A310s and offers new levels of efficiency, passenger comforts well as environmental benefits.
The new aircraft cabin offers a modern design, a new air purifier with filters and light-emitting diodes for ambience lighting and passenger service unit. The new aircraft offers larger luggage storage, too.
Azores Airlines has regular service between Boston the Azores as well as mainland Portugal with seasonal service from Providence and Oakland.
Azores Airlines, part of the SATA Group, has connected New England with the Azores and mainland Portugal for more than 35 years. For more information about booking flights visit http://www.azoresairlines.pt or call 800-762-9995.
