Delta's Refinery Posts $105 Million Profit In 4Q

Delta expects 'a pretty healthy profit at the refinery' in the first three months of this year, according to its CFO.

Delta Air Lines said Tuesday that its Trainer refinery in Delaware County posted a $105 million profit in the fourth quarter. The airline expects to save more than $2 billion in fuel costs in 2015 because of the sharp drop in oil prices.

Delta expects "a pretty healthy profit at the refinery" in the first three months of this year, said chief financial officer Paul Jacobson.
