Ventura Air Services Adds Three Jets to Its Owner Lease Management Program

Jan. 13, 2023

Ventura Air Services today announced that the company has added three jets to its innovative Owner Lease Management program. The addition of these aircraft, two Bombardier Challenger 604s and one Cessna Citation XL560, brings Ventura’s fleet to 11 total. The owners of these aircraft have provided them to Ventura to manage as part of the company’s innovative Owner Lease Management Program that was first introduced in 2021.

Ventura’s Owner Lease Management program allows private aircraft owners to transform underperforming assets into income producers. Through this program, Ventura absorbs all the fixed costs of aircraft management, including standard maintenance, storage, insurance, fuel, pilots and crews and charter bookings. Owners enjoy financial benefits and have access to their planes for personal use.

“Adding three jets to our fleet through our Owner Lease Management Program proves that our approach works and that it is appealing to those who need to secure greater value from their aircraft investment. We efficiently and effectively utilize aircraft for owners while they retain the benefits and receive financial compensation. Our creative approach is a win-win for all involved and aircraft owners from across the nation are taking notice,” said Nick Tarascio, CEO of Ventura Air.

The Bombardier Challenger 604’s can accommodate up to 10 passengers in its large cabin and has a range of over 4,000 miles. The Cessna Citation XL560 is a midsize, seven passenger jet with a range of over 1,700 miles. The added aircraft will support the company’s ability to meet the growing demand for private flights throughout North America and the Caribbean.

“With more aircraft, both passenger and owner experiences will be enhanced. By using our floating fleet model, we are able to strategically position jets at airports across the nation. This allows for greater efficiency, more convenient access to aircraft for travelers and fewer empty leg flights,” added Tarascio. “As we have grown, Ventura has been recognized as a great place to work. To accommodate growth from the addition of these three aircraft, we will be hiring more than 20 employees including pilots, aircraft crews, critical office staff and mechanics.”
